Hendrick Rural Health Clinic Primary Care has welcomed Stephanie Sobotie, MD, to its Brownwood practice, expanding access to family medicine and obstetric care for local patients. The clinic is a department of Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood.

Sobotie has cared for patients since 2010 and previously worked with patients in Ghana and Canada before moving to Brownwood. Her background includes family medicine, obstetrics and addiction care.

“I fell in love with Brownwood during my first visit, and I look forward to providing care for patients from birth to geriatrics,” said Dr. Sobotie.

Services available at the Brownwood clinic

As a family medicine and obstetrics physician, Sobotie treats acute and chronic medical conditions and provides care related to pregnancy and childbirth. Her services also include treatment for injuries, lacerations and sprains, along with gynecological care.

Families can also contact the clinic for school and sports physicals and well-child exams. The range of services is designed to support patients from childhood through older adulthood, according to the clinic announcement.
