Brownwood residents will gather Wednesday, Nov. 11, for a Veterans Day program honoring two Brown County veterans and their service.

The program begins at 11 a.m. at the Central Texas Veterans Memorial. Brigadier General Dan Locker will serve as master of ceremonies, while Brown County Judge Tom Munson will deliver the keynote address.

Two veterans to be honored

During the ceremony, officials will dedicate plaques for Doyle Mills, who was killed in action in Korea, and Harry Cecil Pruett of Early, described as a highly decorated World War II veteran.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Veterans Day program.
