Coach points to consistency
Second-year Brownwood head coach Kristen Grimes said the team showed strong stretches but struggled to recover when Glen Rose built momentum.
“They played hard but it’s still a roller coaster,” said Lady Lions second-year head coach Kristen Grimes.
Grimes said Brownwood played well during some longer rallies and showed good defense, but inconsistent passing affected the team’s hitters. She also said the Lady Lions need to respond more effectively after opponents string together several points.
