Singers from Brownwood and communities throughout the region are being invited to join the Brownwood Community Chorus as it prepares for a Christmastime performance of Handel’s “Messiah.”
Rehearsals begin Monday, Sept. 14, in the choir room at Howard Payne University’s Davidson Music Complex, 106 Whaley St., in Brownwood.
Weekly rehearsals planned
The chorus will rehearse each Monday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. as participants prepare for the seasonal concert. The announcement did not provide a performance date or details about registration requirements.
The invitation is open to singers from throughout the region, giving local vocalists an opportunity to take part in the Brownwood community music group.
