Brownwood residents should plan ahead for a one-day closure of City Hall and several other city facilities on Veterans Day. Brownwood City Hall, the Landfill and Recycling Center, and other non-emergency facilities will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11.
The city said regular operating hours will resume Thursday, Nov. 12, for all non-emergency facilities. The closure affects city services and facilities but will not change Brownwood’s curbside trash schedule.
Trash collection will follow the usual schedule
Brownwood curbside trash routes will be collected as usual during the holiday week. Residents should place their carts at the curb by 7 a.m. to ensure collection.
