Brownwood’s 2026 Christmas Under the Stars Christmas Parade is set for Dec. 3, and registration is now open for organizations, schools, nonprofits, government groups and businesses that want to enter a float.
The parade will begin at 6:15 p.m. in historic Downtown Brownwood, according to information issued by the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce and published by Brownwood News on Sept. 1, 2026. Organizers are encouraging prospective participants to register early because the number of available spots is limited.
Float entry fees
The Chamber listed different registration rates based on the type of entrant:
- Chamber member float: $100
- Non-member float: $150
- Nonprofit, education or government float: $50
The registration information says entrants can sign up now to secure a place in the parade. The event is part of Brownwood’s Christmas Under the Stars celebration and will bring parade participants to the city’s historic downtown area on the evening of Dec. 3.
Sponsorship opportunities also available
Community members and businesses can also support the parade through sponsorships for the parade awards. The Chamber is seeking sponsors to help recognize the work and creativity that go into the entries.
