Howard Payne University students who need help preparing for the fall 2026 semester will have an additional opportunity to get assistance Saturday, Aug. 15, when several university offices open on campus in Brownwood.
University personnel will be available from 9 a.m. to noon. The Saturday hours are intended for students who need additional help before fall classes begin Monday, Aug. 17.
Offices available Saturday
Students can visit offices handling admissions, billing, financial aid, registration, technology and student services. The locations announced by Howard Payne are:
- Office of Admissions: Newbury Family Welcome Center
- Business Office: Packer Administration Building, second floor
- Office of Information Technology Services: Packer Administration Building, first floor
- Office of the Registrar: Packer Administration Building, second floor
- Office of Financial Aid: Packer Administration Building, first floor
- Office of Student Experience: Mabee University Center, second floor
The offices cover many of the practical issues students may need to resolve before the semester starts, including enrollment questions, financial arrangements, financial-aid matters, registration needs, technology assistance and student-experience services.
Fall semester applications remain open
Howard Payne said it is still accepting applications for the fall 2026 semester. Prospective students seeking information about enrollment can visit www.hputx.edu/enroll or call 325-649-8020.
The university’s Saturday availability gives current and prospective students a final scheduled opportunity identified in the announcement to contact several key offices in person before classes begin. Students planning to visit should note the limited three-hour window and the separate building locations for each office.
