In an email sent to subscribers Tuesday, Sept. 1, Van S. Harris announced the decision. The Harris Ratings have appeared in BrownwoodNews.com’s high school football coverage in past years, including weekly preview stories with predictions.
What Brownwood readers can expect
BrownwoodNews.com said it will continue using Dave Campbell’s Texas Football ratings and weekly projections. The publication also plans to use ratings and projections from sixmanfootball.com in its coverage going forward.
The change ends the local outlet’s use of the Harris system but does not end its weekly football ratings and prediction coverage, according to the announcement.
