A new floral business serving the Brownwood area has been officially welcomed by local business leaders. The Early and Brownwood Area Chambers of Commerce recently joined for a ribbon-cutting celebration for Grace Upon Grace Gardens, located inside Main & Monroe Co. at 115 N. Fisk.
Grace Upon Grace Gardens was created by owner and floral designer Davelyn Hood. The business is built around Hood’s love of flowers, thoughtful giving, faith, hospitality and community, according to information posted by the Early Chamber of Commerce.
What Grace Upon Grace Gardens offers
Under the motto “Meaning in Every Bloom,” Hood creates fresh floral arrangements designed to be both beautiful and meaningful. The arrangements often include the traditional meanings and stories associated with individual flowers.
In addition to floral arrangements, the shop offers faith-forward gifts, floral workshops and events, loyalty and membership programs, and other products and activities.
A locally focused growing plan
Hood is also developing a year-round cut-flower garden. The goal is to use more locally grown Brownwood blooms in the shop’s arrangements as the garden continues to grow.
The chambers said they were excited to welcome Grace Upon Grace Gardens to the business community and looked forward to seeing the concept develop in Brown County.
Residents can visit the shop Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Grace Upon Grace Gardens can be reached at 325-455-0103 or [email protected]. The business also lists Facebook and Instagram accounts under the name Grace Upon Grace Gardens.
