Dynasty Softball 10U responded to a difficult start in pool play by winning all three of its Sunday games, ending the weekend with an 8-7 walk-off victory over DRIP Tigers 10U-Kindler Fa26. The team had entered Sunday after going 2 losses and 1 tie in Saturday’s pool play.
The results included a 9-3 win over CTX Prodigies 10U, an 11-8 victory against Waco Warriors-Malcik 9U and the late comeback against DRIP Tigers. Across the three games, Dynasty scored 28 runs and stole 21 bases.
Fast start against CTX Prodigies
Dynasty took control of its opener by scoring five runs in the first inning and four more in the second for a 9-3 victory. The lineup drew 10 walks, helping create repeated scoring chances, and stole 14 bases.
Harlie Keele, Stephanie Guzman and the Dynasty lineup showed patience at the plate. Kinzlee-Ann DeVusser started in the circle, working two innings and striking out two while allowing three runs, all unearned. Brynlee Holland, Kinzlee-Ann and Stephanie each had a hit, while Harlie, Brynlee and Stephanie recorded RBIs.
Five-run innings lift Dynasty past Waco
Dynasty fell behind Waco Warriors-Malcik 9U by a 3-1 score in the first inning, but answered with five runs in the second to take a 6-3 lead. After Waco narrowed the margin to one run, Dynasty scored five more in the third inning and held on for an 11-8 win.
Kinzlee-Ann provided one of the game’s biggest plays, hitting a triple that drove in three runs during the second-inning rally. She finished 1-for-1 with three RBIs and struck out three in three innings of pitching. Dynasty drew 14 walks and stole seven bases in the game, while Brynlee, Kinzlee-Ann and Taytum McLaughlin each collected a hit.
Zoey Jenkins delivers the deciding hit
DRIP Tigers opened the final game with a 5-0 lead, but Dynasty answered with five runs in the second inning. Dynasty then moved ahead 7-5 before the Tigers tied the game at 7-7 in the top of the third.
With the game tied in the bottom of the third, Zoey Jenkins doubled to drive in the winning run and give Dynasty an 8-7 walk-off victory. Kinzlee-Ann and Taytum each collected two hits, while Landry Longabough, Harlie, Zoey, Brooklyn Crouch, Taytum, Stephanie and Baylee Swift each recorded an RBI. Kinzlee-Ann also pitched all three innings and struck out six.
The three-game performance featured early leads, comebacks and a final-inning finish, with patience at the plate, aggressive baserunning and timely hitting driving Dynasty’s Sunday sweep.
