The Brownwood Lady Lions will begin District 6-4A volleyball competition Tuesday after dropping both of their final tuneup matches Saturday.
Brownwood fell to Abilene Cooper in five sets and Midland Lee in three sets during a dual match in Abilene, according to Brownwood News. The results came before the team’s scheduled district opener.
District opener set for Mineral Wells
The Lady Lions are scheduled to play at Mineral Wells at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The match marks the start of Brownwood’s District 6-4A schedule.
Kendall Ratliff, a No. 9 player for Brownwood, was identified in the report. The team entered the match with a 7-17 record.
