Brownwood ISD has reminded families about new and continuing entry requirements for students attending home varsity football games at Gordon Wood Stadium. The district says the rules are intended to support a safe and enjoyable experience as crowd sizes increase and seating remains limited.
For students in eighth grade or younger, an adult ticket-holder must accompany them into every home varsity football game. A younger student cannot enter when accompanied only by another student ticket-holder. There is no limit on the number of children one adult may bring, provided that the adult agrees to be responsible for each child.
High school students attending without an adult ticket-holder must present a student ID for admission. Students and adults should also understand that if a spectator is asked to leave, the ticket will not be refunded.
What families need to know at the gate
Adults who bring students into Gordon Wood Stadium are accountable for the students’ behavior. If the entry requirements are not met, staff will deny admission and help students make arrangements to be picked up when necessary.
The student ticket requirements are posted by Brownwood ISD at brownwoodisd.org/gwsstudenttickets. Families planning to attend should review the rules before arriving, particularly when a student is attending without a parent or another adult ticket-holder.

Pre-sales end at noon Friday and reopen at 5:30 p.m., when the stadium gates open.
Brownwood ISD also reminds spectators that no one may enter the field after a game, no re-admittance is allowed after leaving the stadium, and outside food and drinks are prohibited. A concession menu is available online.
Home varsity games will again be livestreamed from Gordon Wood Stadium through Brownwood ISD’s Lions Live page. Links for away-game livestreams and replays, when available, will be posted through the district’s athletics page.
