Businesses from Brown County and beyond are being invited to participate in Pathways to Success, a career-focused event scheduled for Nov. 3, 2026, at the Brownwood Event Center.
The event will connect high school juniors and seniors with business owners and employers who can introduce students to career paths, trades, entrepreneurship and opportunities available after graduation. The main event is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with business booths open from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Booth registration is free
Businesses will not be charged to host a booth, although participating businesses will not be compensated. Organizers are seeking participants from all industries, including trades, services, corporate businesses, nonprofits and entrepreneurship.
Participating businesses can share what their industries look like beyond the classroom, promote their companies at no cost and connect with potential future employees. The event is also intended to help strengthen Brown County’s workforce by showing students that career and business opportunities are available locally.
How businesses can participate
Businesses interested in hosting a booth can register by calling the office at (325) 646-9535, sending a message through Facebook or commenting on the event announcement. Registration is also available by email at [email protected].
Businesses using email should include “BUSINESS BOOTH FOR PATHWAYS” in the subject line. Organizers are encouraging employers and business owners to work together to give students a clearer view of life after high school and the possibilities available in Brown County.
