Brown County businesses, food trucks and residents will have a new opportunity to connect this fall when the Business Expo and Food Truck Cook-Off comes to the Brownwood Event Center Complex on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will be free for the public to attend. Organizers say the expo is designed to help businesses promote their services, meet potential customers and connect with other business professionals from across Brown County.

Businesses and food trucks can still register

Booth spaces remain available for companies that want to participate. Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce members will pay $200 for a single booth or $375 for a double booth. The rates for nonmembers are $300 for a single booth and $475 for a double booth.

Food trucks also have space available. The registration fee is $50 for Chamber members and $100 for nonmembers.

Businesses and food trucks can register through the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce events page.

Sponsors announced for 2026 expo

United Supermarkets is serving as the presenting sponsor. Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood and KTAB/KRBC TV are listed as gold sponsors, while 3M and First Central Credit Union are silver sponsors.

Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood is also identified as the bag sponsor.

The Brownwood Area Chamber shared details about the event on social media Friday morning, according to KOXE. The expo is intended for local businesses and professionals as well as members of the public who want to discover and support Brown County businesses.
