Brown County 4-H families have until noon Tuesday, Aug. 25, to order state validation tags for animals they plan to show at the Brown County Youth Fair and major shows. The Brown County Extension Office announced the deadline Monday, Aug. 24.
The notice says the rule has changed for the Brown County Youth Fair: every animal must now be state validated before it can be shown at BCYF. The county-level validation process is no longer available.
What families need to know
Families should use the ordering link provided in the original notice to request their tags. The Extension Office said families will be invoiced later and urged them to place orders before the Tuesday noon deadline.
